This week the #1 spot goes to Cut out the interesting part of videos with TubeChop. TubeChop is a cool tool that allows you to chop off just the part of a YouTube video you want to use and gives you a new url that may not be blocked in your school. Making its way back up to the top is Sites for Using iPads in Education which includes a list of recommended sites from my buddy at Apple. Next up is Look Who's All A- Twitter About Education which explains how 70-something Diane Ravitch is using Twitter to get her ideas out about ed reform. The article also features a Top 25 list of education Tweeters which sent a buzz around the Twitosphere about the metrics used to create such a list. Regardless of the metrics, the list features a couple dozen folks that I have learned a great deal from and with. Coming in at #4 is Join the Twittersation with Twitter Chat! which provides a link to a great list for those who want to participate in Twitter chats. Rounding out the top five The Best Teacher Evaluation System I’ve Heard of! which explains a school model where the students and teachers are responsible for evaluation. The article is good. The comments are even better.
